At the User Login Screen:
Login Methods:
• Login with Challenge/Response: You must input a dynamic password response generated using either your SafeWord™ Card or MobilePass soft token**. Detailed instructions below:
SafewordTM Card
a. On your Safeword Card:
i. Press "ON" and enter your 4-digit PIN when prompted.
ii. At the "HOST?" prompt, enter the number "9".
iii. At the "CHALLNG?" prompt, enter the Challenge (excluding the first "9") that appears in the Challenge field on CitiDirect Mobile.
b. On CitiDirect Mobile screen:
i. In the "Response" field, enter the response displayed on the SafeWord card.
ii. Click “Submit”. You will be granted access upon verification of the Challenge/Response. To return to the User Login screen, click “Cancel”.
iii. For users with Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), you will be prompted to enter your static password. For first time users, you must complete your registration on CitiDirect ® (https://www.citidirect.com/login) before logging into CitiDirect ® Mobile with MFA.
MobilePASS**
a. Launch the downloaded MobilePass application on your mobile device.Please refer to your activation email on how to activate your MobilePass token.
b. On the MobilePass app:
i. Enter your 4-digit PIN in the “Token PIN” field
ii. At the "Host?" prompt, enter the number "9"
iii. At the "Challenge?" prompt, enter the Challenge (excluding the first "9"), which appears in the Challenge field on CitiDirect ® Mobile.
iv. Click “Generate Passcode”
c. On CitiDirect® Mobile screen:
i. In the "Response" field, enter the response displayed on the MobilePass app.
ii. Click “Submit”. You will be granted access upon verification of the Challenge/Response.To return to the User Login screen, click “Cancel”.
iii. For users with Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), you will be prompted to enter your static password. For first time users, you must complete your registration on CitiDirect® (https://www.citidirect.com/login) before logging into CitiDirect ® Mobile with MFA.
**Note: MobilePass is only available for select users at this time.
• Login with SMS One Time Code or Voice One Time Code: You must input your static password and the One Time Code received on your registered phone number. Detailed instructions below:
a. In the “Enter Password” field, enter your static password and click “Submit”. You will receive an automated SMS or voice call containing a One Time Code at your registered phone number.
b. At the “Enter One Time Code” prompt, enter the One Time Code you received.
c. Click “Submit”. You will be granted access upon verification of the One Time Code. To return to the User Login screen, click “Cancel”.
*Note: SMS One Time Code and Voice One Time Code are only available for select users, and are not supported for Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) at this time.
